FAQ

Quick answers before you start your first build.

What counts as a submission?

Anything you shipped: web app, game, mobile app, CLI tool, plugin, etc. A live URL is easiest, but you can also submit an App Store/Play Store link, itch.io page, GitHub Release, or a download page. If it requires a download, add a demo URL so people can preview it first.

Can I submit more than once in a month?

Yes. Multiple submissions are encouraged—up to 10 per month.

How do points and badges work?

Your first submission in a month earns 10 points. Each additional submission earns 5 points (up to 10 submissions per month). Badges are awarded automatically and add +2 points each.

Do I have to follow the theme?

No. The theme is optional—it’s just a starting point.

Do I need to share my repo?

Nope. The repository link is optional. If your app is paid or requires a download, a public demo URL helps people understand what they’re clicking.

Do I have to use a specific AI tool?

No. Use whatever helps you ship (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, Codex, etc.). If you want, list the tools you used in your submission—it makes the build breakdown more useful for other builders.

Can I remix something I started earlier?

Yes. New builds, big updates, and remixes are all welcome. If it started earlier, call out what you shipped or improved this month.

Is this for “serious” projects only?

Nope. Tiny, weird, playful, practical—if it’s shipped, it belongs.

Is there moderation?

Yes. We’ll remove spam and unsafe links. If you share a downloadable build, host it somewhere reputable and include a demo URL so people can decide before downloading.

When do submissions close?

Each month has a defined start and end time shown on the month page. Cutoffs are set in UTC so everyone has the same clock.
